First Glance Diagnostic Ultrasound is owned and run by experienced sonographers — Amy, Steph, and Vicky. Between us, we have over 20 years of professional experience and are all fully qualified specialists in medical ultrasound.

As an independent clinic, we offer a range of diagnostic ultrasound scans in a calm, friendly, and welcoming environment. Alongside our work at First Glance, we continue to practise within the NHS locally, allowing us to maintain our skills and stay up to date with current best practices and developments.

We understand the pressures and time constraints often associated with NHS appointments. Our goal is to provide a more relaxed and personal experience, where you and your family can take the time to meet and bond with your baby.

We offer a full range of pregnancy scans — including early pregnancy scans from 6 weeks, gender scans from 15 weeks, and 2D, 4D, and HD scans throughout your pregnancy. In addition, we provide pelvic scans for a variety of reasons, such as fertility checks, ovarian cyst monitoring, coil position, and general well-being.
